Bakery Marie Blachere

I often stop by in the morning around 8 a.m., and the displays are frequently empty or being set up. I don't understand why, for a bakery with so much foot traffic, you have to wait for a pastry or anything else. Furthermore, the staff is unhelpful. They're not very friendly and make inappropriate remarks.

Hello, I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with this bakery. It takes far too long in the morning; eight minutes for a pain au chocolat, only to leave empty-handed. Many other people also left the queue. It's really unacceptable; they need more staff and, above all, speed!

Arrived at noon, zero sandwiches! It's lunchtime, how are we supposed to eat? Unpleasant music, no peace and quiet to eat in, stale bread from the day before, the worst Marie Blachère I know. Slices of ham thrown in haphazardly, it's like they don't want to work. I politely asked them to make me a ham and butter sandwich, nothing complicated, just 2 minutes wasted for a happy customer, except no, I think 2 minutes is too much, they refused my request. I went at the beginning of September, same problem. I went back today, still no change in organization and the sandwiches are still out of stock at noon, forced to take a small sandwich. In short, never again Marie Blachère!

The service could be improved, as it was not considered satisfactory. The sandwich did not meet expectations, having an excessive amount of bread and lacking flavor. The advertised menu price was €4.95 including a drink. However, the bill came to €8.25 for a bland sandwich and a small bottle of water.

Hello On Saturday around 6:55 pm, I received a very warm welcome from a very kind, smiling, and friendly lady. The bread, croissants, and fruit tart were greatly enjoyed by the guests. Thank you and see you soon! ✌️

I arrived this morning at 7:30 to take advantage of the attractive "10 pastries for €6" offer (for my students). I witnessed a fascinating magic trick: a saleswoman made the entire stock of croissants and pain au chocolat disappear right before our eyes, bagging them (destination unknown!). The result: a line of customers leaving for work on empty stomachs, as they had to wait 10 minutes for the next batch. It's an interesting concept to empty the shelves just as people arrive before work! It's a shame, the offer is tempting, but the products need to stay on the shelf to be sold to customers. I'll come back when the stock isn't playing hide-and-seek anymore.

Closed for renovations! No information, neither by phone nor on this page. I hope the fruit shop isn't going to close to make way for Marie Blachère.

Unpleasant staff. 10 am, no bread, no drinks, 10 sandwiches barely available, and obviously understaffed. Over 15 minutes wait for a sandwich. And unpleasant remarks from the cashier.

Of all the ones I've made, this one is pathetic.

A memorable experience… but not in a good way. I went to this bakery today at 5:40 pm, and the service was simply disastrous. No smiles, no friendliness, a very clear impression of being a nuisance. This is quite surprising in a business where customer interaction is supposed to be essential. I do, however, really appreciate the Marie Blachère chain and the quality of its products, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. But today, the lack of professionalism of the two saleswomen present completely overshadowed everything else. If you don't enjoy interacting with customers, it might be better to consider another career path. Because as it stands, it mostly makes you want to turn around and leave… or even never come back at all. A real shame!

Quick service and the option to eat in. No restrooms on site!

A very bad experience at this bakery. I simply came to buy some croissants, but the atmosphere in the shop was truly unpleasant. There was clearly tension between the manager and the employees, and the way she spoke to them in front of customers was frankly inappropriate and unprofessional. It's very awkward as a customer to witness this kind of scene. Instead of a friendly bakery, it feels like a place where employees work under pressure and are constantly being reprimanded. Honestly, it just makes you want to turn around and buy your croissants somewhere else. A bakery should be a welcoming place, not one where you witness this kind of behavior in front of everyone. Very disappointed.
