Really nice place with a calm, homely feel. The food was fresh and well seasoned, I especially liked the flavor combinations. Service was good, not rushed, which actually fit the atmosphere.

Ideally located on a small historic square in the heart of Montpellier, Mimosa offers a perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink with friends or family! With a fine selection of carefully chosen wines and fresh, locally sourced produce, we love it! We highly recommend it!

I don’t know what was the best, if the food, the service or the wine. 10/10. Everything fresh and delicious 😋. I totally recommend it. Everything we ate was vegetarian!

We were drawn in by the glowing Google reviews about the establishment. Once there, we were very disappointed with the tapas on offer: €12 for a "goat's cheese meringue," which was nothing more than a goat cheese on top of unwashed lettuce. The menu indicated it came with garlic croutons, so we asked about them once the dish was in front of us. There were no croutons left, but we weren't informed of this when we ordered, or even at all if we hadn't asked. The pulled pork bun consisted of a few tiny pieces of meat between two thick slices of bread, and the lettuce was, again, unwashed (crisp and dirty). We were disappointed by the quality and quantity of the food compared to the price of each tapa. To our surprise, we realized that the Google reviews were actually for Baci Baci, a former Italian restaurant located on the premises. Mimosa is riding the wave of positive reviews from the previous restaurant. The waitress was very friendly and pleasant, though, so we shouldn't penalize her for that. The cocktails are also very good.
