Restaurant Il Bar A Pizze - Montpellier

A warm welcome, excellent cuisine (delicious pizza dough, refined dishes…), a pleasant setting on the banks of the Lez river. We've been regulars since it opened and highly recommend it!

Magnificent

Okay, but nothing special. I had lunch with colleagues one day. There are two restaurants nearby, and we made a reservation at one, which was accepted, only to find the room was booked for a wedding. Poor communication? As for the food, I'll only speak for my dish, which was the Rigatoni Giordino. The taste was bland, even a bit tasteless. You could taste the pesto, but it clearly lacked flavor. I had to use the entire container of Parmesan cheese provided to add any flavor. The pieces of pizza dough they gave me for dipping had more taste. The half burrata was of the same quality; burratas from Grand Frais have more flavor. It was okay, but nothing special, and not worth the price, especially compared to the very high prices. Perhaps it's better to stick to the pizzas, as my colleagues apparently found them very good. I would still like to commend the staff who served us, who were very cordial and friendly; the ice creams were also very good (I didn't ask if they made them themselves or not).

Excellent pizzeria, one of the best in Montpellier without a doubt! The pizzas are delicious and creative; they remind me of my childhood in Italy. Highly recommended.

Best pizzeria and best Italian restaurant with generously topped and delicious pizzas. The service was friendly and quick. A great place to have a good time. I will gladly return.

The food is excellent, and the service is very good. The salads are delicious and incredibly fresh, and the waitresses and owner are very welcoming.

A sure bet in Port Marianne, whether for pasta or pizza, we're never disappointed! The owner is lovely and the staff is always pleasant. So glad to see the restaurant expand with the opening of the second location just steps away from the original.
