A hidden gem by the sea! We had a magical evening at this restaurant, and everything was perfect: the welcome, the atmosphere, and especially the food! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by a smiling and attentive team. The setting is wonderfully cozy: tasteful decor (we loved the teddy bears 😉), soft lighting, a terrace right on the water, and a magnificent sea view. As for the food, it was a real treat: ultra-fresh ingredients, subtle and generous flavors, and elegant presentation. And what can we say about the desserts? A chocolate mousse to die for and a delicious rum baba. The service was impeccable: quick without being rushed. The value for money is excellent, especially for such an exceptional setting. A historic address, beautifully run by Laure and Bruno, who know how to welcome guests in this privileged location overlooking the sea in Palavas. It's undoubtedly my favorite spot on the coast for the warm welcome and the feeling of being even more at home, with VIP service. The owners' kindness is simply outstanding, and the dishes and desserts are sublime thanks to the quality of their creation by Laure and their son. I had an exceptional evening this past Thursday with family and friends from Nantes who discovered this jewel of the Mediterranean. I can only recommend this establishment, which knows how to welcome its guests with a delicacy and professionalism that is all too rare these days. In my opinion, they embody the respect for excellent Mediterranean cuisine and the pride of French tradition, which many countries envy. Book well in advance if you want to enjoy a wonderful experience during a meal overlooking the beach. My long-standing specialty on the menu is the tuna Rossini with mango and crushed potatoes—a marvel among the other specialties they offer! A must-try!

The least we can say is that La Banane restaurant gave us a real treat ;) The dishes were excellent, made with high-quality ingredients. As for the service, the manager was incredibly attentive. Bruno was so funny that we completely forgot to leave a tip, which was well deserved. We highly recommend this place! The Swiss girls :)

I give it a 4 because of the prices. The food is excellent - especially the turbot. Food for thought to the owner: if tellines are done with cream its difficult to eat fatty fish afterwards. I would recomment to make a wine garlic paraley sauce for the tellines so that the guests can enjoy the dinner better espwcially that the fish is massive

Despite its name, this is a very good restaurant specializing in fresh fish. The portions are generous and the food is well-prepared. The service is friendly and attentive, and there's a sea view. I highly recommend it.

For me, it remains the best restaurant in Palavas... Absolutely fantastic, superb cuisine with a chef who demonstrates great originality. Everything is fresh and delicious. Undoubtedly the best in Palavas for fish (but not only that), in a beautiful, unspoiled location right on the beach. The owner and service are top-notch. They know how to accommodate customers' specific requests (in this case, a guest who needed to eat without salt). They also participate in the village traditions by sponsoring the water jousting tournament. 😉
