I share some recent opinions: what happened to this restaurant? As a regular for over a year (I go about once a week), it's definitely gone from a very nice restaurant with excellent value for money and very good management/organization... to a "every man for himself" situation, it seems. Unfortunately, I go during my lunch break, and the wait times have become far too long, not to mention the reduced menu. I feel more sadness and compassion than reproach, but unfortunately, it's not the same restaurant it was a year ago.

The wait was interminable. First to get the menu, then to order, and then to receive our food. Supposedly due to a staff shortage, but that's hard to accept when the table next to us, who arrived after us, was served even though we hadn't even had a chance to order... Unfortunately, the quality of the food wasn't worth the wait: overcooked and dry pasta on one side, and half-cooked fries with lukewarm meat on the other. I left hungry and it pained me to pay. In short, I won't be going back.

A terrible experience! Only the eggplant pastries were excellent. I thought this restaurant, specializing in Italian-style homemade pizzas, would serve delicious pizzas... far from it. The pizzas were undercooked, cold, and the tomato sauce was definitely not homemade, contrary to what you'd expect from fresh tomatoes! It tasted like tomato sauce from a tube or can—bright red, thick, and sickeningly sweet! There was a long wait before we were seated, and the service was quite slow. They were out of house wine! And our order of wine by the glass (€4.90 a glass, without specifying which wine) took ages to arrive. If we hadn't gone to get it, we might have received it with dessert! We didn't even ask for the bread. The staff is friendly, but overwhelmed, and not a word of explanation or apology for the long wait and minor issues. And, as is common, an overworked server doesn't even look at the customers for fear of being called out! A bad experience for us, but it's very busy! That means the majority of customers are satisfied. Will we go back? Not at all sure!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I've been eating lunch there for several years, but today was the last time. Everything has gone downhill drastically. The waitress was incompetent and impolite. I waited 20 minutes to pay, and she walked right past me several times without even looking at me. For takeout, they charge for the containers, and we have to pack them ourselves. I find all of this outrageous. The restaurant is deteriorating rapidly over time.

The service was unpleasant; the waitresses were grumpy, their priority was clearing tables rather than seating customers and bringing them water, and they were dragging their feet. Please raise their wages or replace them! The price-quality ratio was acceptable.

What's going on at Gusto St. Aunes? It used to be a fantastic restaurant, expertly run with top-notch, smiling, and helpful staff. Now it's a complete mess. The second dining room was empty, and the blonde "supposed head waitress" was just wasting her time, making us wait fifteen minutes to find a table, and on top of that, she was about as friendly as a prison guard. It's a shame, the Gusto chain is very good, but I certainly won't be setting foot in the St. Aunes Gusto again.

The waitress was very pleasant, thankfully, because I was disappointed with the beef tartare, which really needs improvement. We were looking for the capers, onions... it was really bland. The fries were dry and overcooked. The waitress was available, but she can't be everywhere. Furthermore, when we called to make a reservation, we were told they don't take reservations after 12:30, which is a bit of a shame. We had to ask for bread.

Yesterday I went there for lunch. My sister and I had a very generous goat cheese salad. It's the best goat cheese salad I've ever eaten. I highly recommend it.

Disappointing! Where has the old Gusto gone?! A limited menu printed on cheap paper, an empty veranda that doesn't bode well... whereas before it was packed! We entered through the outdoor terrace and went to the bar to wait for our reserved table. We were asked to wait at the entrance on the shopping arcade side, and the tone wasn't friendly. They went to take our order... 40 minutes later, still no food! We saw that the table next to us, who arrived after us, was served before us! We asked again, and they explained that the order hadn't been sent to the kitchen! We were a group of four who were going back to work at 2 pm, and the waiter asked the kitchen to send out our food immediately. We were served pasta with pesto cremosa swimming in oil! Indigestible, we didn't finish our plates! At the register, they asked us if everything was alright, and we explained that it wasn't, going on to say what went wrong. The woman, aside from telling us they were alone and that it wasn't easy, which is why things went badly, didn't offer any assistance or even apologize! Nothing! Yet poorly cooked dishes have absolutely nothing to do with being alone in the kitchen! The pasta was supposed to be Linguini with pesto, but we ended up with leftover pasta mixed together (tagliatelle and linguine) swimming in oil… truly avoid this place! They need to raise their standards! 18 euros for a pasta dish of this quality is unacceptable 🤬

We came for dinner one evening during the week as a family. The meal wasn't great in terms of the freshness of the ingredients. Nothing like the lunchtime service. The person who served us was excellent.

Located inside the galleries of the Leclerc shopping center in Saint-Aunès but with a direct entrance from the parking lot. Good food at reasonable prices. Daily menu to choose between starter and main course or main course and dessert. Remember that in France, if they don't already serve it to you directly, you can ask for plain water without being charged. Attentive and friendly staff. It's worth getting off the highway to go there (it's very close) if you're in the area at lunchtime and want to save a penny in a service area.

We had a great time: we chose pizzas and they were very generously topped and really delicious. The service was good despite it being very busy.

Despite the good food at this restaurant, the atmosphere and the staff's welcome are so poor, apart from the two waitresses, the brunette and the petite blonde. Frankly, I was so disappointed that the manager did nothing to resolve the situation after I reported being spoken to rudely. Shameful.

We stopped at this brasserie quite by chance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stop. Everything was perfect: the truffle pizza, the daily special, the quick service, and the very friendly staff. If we're ever in the area again, we'll gladly return.
